In this one-day seminar Dr. Maria Grazia Levin will provide an overview of the theory of DBT, basic information regarding the neurobiology behind emotional reactions and strategies to provide the most effective change of dysfunctional behaviors in treatment. Michael Rogers will explore how to integrate mindfulness into your practice. providing you with specific resources and tools for working with Christian and non-Christian clients.

MARIA GRAZIA LEVIN
Dr. Levin has provided mental health services both in Italy and USA since 1975. Dialectical Behavior Therapy has been her primary modality of intervention since 1999.

MICHAEL ROGERS
Rogers is a licensed professional clinical counselor in the state of Kentucky; owner of Vital Living Counseling Services, LLC in Lexington, KY.

Released for Lunch: 11:45-1:15 (Lunch not provided)

Presentation by Michael Rogers: 1:15-4:15

Six CEU credits will be awarded for Social Workers and Licensed Professional Counselors. CEU’s for Marriage and Family Counselors are pending.
