  1. Thank you for this wholesome and vital reminder, Andy. From any angle people may approach crisis, God’s word has the answer and this is the true Christian attitude.

  2. I have been praying that the ISIS leaders would have Damascus Road experiences. Then I understood that God may be using ISIS to humble a complacent USA the way God used Assyria and Babylon to humble the Jews. We must pray for and embody authentic Jesus lives here in our country and ask ourselves if we would be among the martyrs or the denyers if we were called to give our lives. Pray that God would find us faithful.

  3. Great points Andrew! I love the part in Matthew 5:44-45 “so that you may be sons of your Father who is in Haaven”. Being an adopted son of God looks like praying for those who mistreat and persecute and misunderstand us. It’s beautfiul that Jesus too, continues to make intercession for us at the right hand of the Father. We formally have mistreated and disregarded and profaned His name too. Yet He interceded and stands in place of us when judgement would fall as the elder brother. Love His example of living.
