The Letter to the Hebrews is a long sermon written to encourage Christians facing adversity. It accomplishes this by reminding the audience of the supremacy of Christ, and begins by celebrating his enthronement as king. As the enthroned Son of God, he is the final Word of God that mediates God’s presence, grace, and covenant with his people. As the Son of God, Jesus Christ is better than angels or any other servant beings.
