Bands: Becoming Like Jesus Together

Mark Benjamin and Anna Grace Legband

In a time marked by loneliness and spiritual fragmentation, many are longing for authenticity and connection but lack the practices to sustain it. This pre-conference will explore the early Christian “bands” tradition as a simple, powerful pathway for discipleship through honest confession, shared life, and mutual accountability. Together we will address the formation crisis in the church and rediscover how ordinary people are formed into the likeness of Christ in small, committed communities. Come receive both a vision and practical patterns for cultivating deep, healing relationships that actually transform lives.

Resilient Witness in Times of Retreat and Revival

Jon Thompson

In a rapidly changing culture, how do we remain faithful to the mission of Jesus and continue reaching people well? Drawing from Scripture and years of ministry experience, Jon Thompson will explore an incarnational vision of evangelism, helping us learn to open all the doors of witness.

Whether it’s a Muslim having a dream about Jesus, a university student listening to a Christian Oxford professor discussing the historical validity of the resurrection, a sick person being loved, cared for, and prayed over by a Christian nurse, a sermon by the preacher, or a deliverance that breaks the power of darkness, the point is that in a pluralistic, multicultural, and socio-economically diverse world, love, word, and power are the keys to crossing the common ground we share with our neighbors.

Come be equipped with a fresh vision and practical tools for resilient witness in our cultural moment.
