Christ is risen!

Listen Now! LISTEN HERE April 20, 2019 In solemn remembrance of the events of Holy Week, I have elected to forgo any of my comments so that full attention can be given to the Word

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a son/daughter.

In the chaos of the Creator’s crucifixion comes the stunning revelation of who stands with who. Upside down is right side up now.

Jesus’ words are true, trustworthy, and transformational. They are medicinal and miraculous.

It’s easy for a wealthy community leader to put in a fraction of a fraction of their wealth into the offering plate while having no idea that it costs the most impoverished among them everything they have to even participate.

Nobody sets out to ignore the poor. We just get caught up in all it takes to maintain our own “way of life.”

Whenever God wants to initiate dramatic activity in Israel’s midst, he begins with their worship practices.

As the Gospel began, the Son of God rode on the back of a donkey in the womb of his mother. Today he rides into Jerusalem on the back of a colt.

The only risk we never want to take is the risk of not risking at all.

Be careful how you read because it will determine how you lead.
