The End of History



Jesus Christ is the source and goal of history. He is the pivot; the meaning of history; the one on whom all else turns. He is the primary actor and orderer of history, as God; he is history’s end, not as termination but as telos, as the goal which opens into new life, new levels and dimensions and meanings of existence in the limitless realm of the spirit.
