What is Awakening?

When we speak of awakening, we’re not talking about new age enlightenment, political upheaval, or social activism.
We’re talking about a daily alignment of our life to the light and love of Jesus, as we read in Ephesians:

“Wake up sleeper and rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”

Our work is anchored in helping dissatisfied and passionate believers follow that ancient hymn. If that resonates with you, we invite you to join us.

Featured: The Awakening Library

The Awakening Library is a free suite of online resources focused on nurturing spiritual awakening in the body of Christ, accompanied by an inspiring and in-depth series of interviews that reveal how lives were changed during the sixteen days of what is known as the Asbury Outpouring, or Asbury Revival, in February 2023.

These materials draw on the insights of leaders who banded together to steward the revival, and our own learnings from years of ministry at our annual New Room conferences. Our team has assembled this collection of materials and stories to help individuals and churches prepare for outpouring in their community.

RESOURCE | The Faith Once Delivered

This resource is a collection of writings from voices across the Wesleyan and Methodist community, and articulates key doctrines of Christian orthodoxy.

The project emerged from the Next Methodism Summit where more than fifty Wesleyan scholars gathered in Alexandria, Virginia, in January of 2022. The event was a time of worship, fellowship, and deep theological work.

The resulting resource serves as a guide to ground believers in their faith amidst the ever-changing social, political, and cultural landscape of our time.
