So how does one move from God with me to God within me? Turning to the Lord Jesus, receiving the Holy Spirit, and beholding the glory. It’s all right here.
Whatever we turn to and attach ourselves to for security—that is who or what we worship.
While faith is definitely a matter of the heart, the life of faith is not primarily lived out in the heart. It is lived from the heart but through our actual bodies.
Thin places become forever marked as sites where the atmosphere seemed to thin out as a window into the heavens opened up; places where glory kisses the ground.
Hiddenness is the gift of God to the humble ones, who have traded in their own quest for glory for the pursuit of beholding the glory of Another.
It is one thing to know God’s name; quite another to know God “by name.”

When someone, anyone, lives into and out of an authentic friendship with Jesus and really gives themselves to him, it becomes a clarion call to worship for thousands and ultimately millions.
I believe God wants us to read the Bible with this primary question: How do we live in the presence of the one true, holy, and loving God in the wilderness?
It is impossible to overestimate the pervasive permeation of the self-referenced structure of our lives. This is the law of sin.
