Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

Where there is great love, miracles always happen.

The Holy Spirit, through the person of Jesus, and now through the body of Christ, walks right into the midst of the darkest places, into the most impossible situations and hopeless causes and sets captives free.

What if it’s our quality of peace within the storm that determines the capacity of our faith to calm the storm?

When the Holy Spirit inhabits a person, the person becomes a force for goodness and life.

When sin touches the sacred, it becomes desecrated. When the Sacred One touches the desecrated ones, the desecrated ones become sacred again.

The Spirit of God creates the conditions that make for the prerequisite path of holy discontent.

Discipleship is not a life of believing and behaving. It is a life of beholding and becoming. As we behold the Son of God, we become the sons and daughters of God.

We needed to shift from external prodding to internal hunger; from oughts and shoulds to musts and now; from ticking a box to winning a game.

Doing all the things that Jesus did is not only possible but preferable!

It’s time for courage in the house of God.

What if you take the risk to pray and something does happen? Lives everywhere, including your own, are changed for eternity! That is worth the risk of faith.
